Accidental Stalker

So I accidentally stalked a hotbabe the other day.

She'd gotten on the bus just after me and took the seat next to me. She kept glancing over at me, as if she wanted to tell me something. But it was more of a "don't I know you from somewhere..." look.

After a while the bus started to empty out and a seat on the other side of her opened up. Some people got on and she gestured to them to take it. I thought they were friends of hers, but they totally ignored her so I guess not.

At the next stop she did the same. Again, no one took the seat.

She looked over at me and shrugged. I said something stupid like "where's the love? They're standing like fools."

And so we do some small talk about how awesome it is to have such spacious seats with no one sitting near us. She acts as if it's a party or something and dances a little.

After a while it's her stop so she waves goodbye and heads off. As she heads for the door I realise it was my stop too (I don't get the bus often so it took me by surprise).

Rather than run for the door after her and look creepy, I decide to get off at the next stop, which is still roughly the same distance from home. That way I don't look like a stalker and she doesn't get scared.

So I get off at the next stop, make the turn into the long, empty street that leads to my house and... I see her 15 metres in front of me.

She hears a noise behind her, turns and sees me.

At this point I have 2 options:
- Speed up and catch her and say "I swear I'm not stalking you lol!" Could backfire.
- Slow down and keep my distance, but look a little dodgy at the same time.

I choose the latter.

Bad move. She stops to light a cigarette and her lead on me is cut by over half.

I hope she's going to turn down one of the other streets but she doesn't. I just keep getting closer and closer.

I feel very awkward (lol, wotz new jobe?).

Finally, she turns down the last street before my place and I can relax.
