How To Meet People and... Influence People

So my housemate had one of her work friends over briefly and we met for the first time.

Stupidly, my housemate went out the front to wait for her and locked the door behind her in the process.

So I'm chilling near the door when this goes down and the workmate is all "fuck, she locked me in. How do I get out."

Things not to say:
- "Are you a gift to me? Maybe you aren't supposed to leave until I'm done."
- [after opening door] "You're free now, my petal."

I'm so lonely.

Baby Steps

Tonight I ate some banana.

I haven't eaten banana in its "native" state for many years (10ish).

It was a big step for me.

I ate it.

I think I liked it.

I may eat it again.

Art Crime

The other day I purchased some really cool graffiti art on canvas. So I changed my Facebook status to "Jobe is... acquiring art".

But then I read an article that said graffiti isn't art.

I feel like such a Facebook fraud.

Punch Ons

Someone from the crowd tried to punch someone from the comedy at the gig I went to tonight.

It wasn't very funny.

I mean, his punch was more of an open palm, but I didn't really feel like laughing. You know?
