Cop a Spray

I was in Glebe the other night and I saw a beauty store that was advertising organic spray tans.

I did some research, and the ingredients of a normal spraytan are things like Stabilized Aloe Vera Gel, Dihydroxyacetone, FD&C Yellow #5, Glycerin, D&C Green #5, FD&C Red #40, Sorbitol, Ethoxydiglycol, SD Alcohol 40-A, D&C Red #33, Polysorbate-20, DMDM hydantoin, Citric Acid, FD&C Yellow #6.

How the fuck do you make that organic?

Oh, was the dihydroxyacetone grown by a one-armed Tibetan vegan farmer that didn’t use pesticides? Great! Strip me down and spray me up!

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

I made some homemade lemonade today.

Took a glass and washed it (all of my glasses as dirty), then added heaps of ice and then added some lemonade.

So refreshing.

Way more tasty and satisfying than just drinking it from the bottle like I normally do.

It's Time

You were all with me on my various Road's To Raw. You'll remember how we all felt around that time. How it was supposed to be my competition. The expectation, the excitement, the ultimate let-down.

But I don't think that was it. That wasn't what I was put on this earth (of stand-up comedy) to conquer.

Next year there is a comedy competition starting in... wait for it... Oatley. That's right, I'll be heading back to my hometown to show them what a comedic manboy I have become since I left them.

I spent the first 22/23 years of my life in Oatley. I blogged about Oatley. I even blogged about Mortdale.

I lived Oatley.

And now (well, in 2010), it's time to return home in a blaze of glory and take out that comedy competition.

So join me, on... The Road to Raw Oatley.

I'll bring updates, emotions, set-lists, footgage, interviews, etc as it happens.

Normal blogging will resume after the competition.
